Curd sandwich recipe with step by step photos – quick, easy delicious and tasty sandwich recipe with a spiced veggie curd filling. 


■Sandwiches as a snack has many fans. Most sandwiches are easy and quick enough to prepare. Also there are many variations one can do in the stuffing. This recipe of curd sandwich can also be called as raita sandwich.😋😋


■Sandwich is such a versatile dish, that can be offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner.From kids to adults, there is no one who doesn’t enjoy eating a delicious and wholesome sandwich.🥳🥳


■These sandwiches are low in calories as they do not contain any mayonnaise or processed cheese. As we all know curd has multiple benefits which includes aiding in digestion, helping in loosing weight and acting as immunity booster etc. These health benefits of curd when combined with fresh vegetables makes it as excellent choice for morning breakfast. The vegetables are rich source of fibre and also provides so many vitamins and minerals to the body. 


■You can use butter, ghee or olive oil for grilling these sandwiches. I have roasted these sandwiches on  non stick pan. You can even use electric sandwich maker for grilling.

INGREDIENTS


For sandwiches 

1.Curd : 1cup or 150 gram 
2. Salt to taste or 1tsp
3.black pepper Powder: 3/4 tsp
4.red chilli powder : 1/2 Tsp
5.chopped onion: 1
6.grated carrot: 2Tbsp
7.corn : 2Tbsp

STEP TO PREPARE:


Step1:
Finely chop the carrot, capsicum and onion. Make sure the pieces are not big otherwise they will pierce the sandwich bread.


Step2:
Add the chopped vegetable to  curd. Add salt, black pepper and red chilli powder .


Mix well all the ingredients to form even mixture.

Step3:
Take two bread slices. Evenly spread the  curd mixture on one of the slices. Place the other slice over it. Repeat the process for other slices.





Step4:
Heat a non stick pan or tawa. Spread some butter or oil on it. 


Gently press it with kitchen spatula for even browning. 



Repeat the process for other side as well



Enjoy these low calories delicious curd sandwiches with ketchup.
